Letter from the editors
Vol.7, Issue 1, August 2010, Page 1
Louis Simard and Frank Ohemeng
This issue is a special one devoted to the question of Canadian public policy. It is also the first issue under our direction as co-editors: a first experience of this kind for us, and we hope to maintain the reputation and the quality of the work done in the past five years by our predecessor Christian Rouillard. We want to continue to open up the journal to a wider readership, as well as encourage critical thinking and writing: a path charted by our predecessor to the purpose of better understanding the issues, challenges and innovations affecting public administration and the governance of organizations.
Available online since spring 2004, Revue governance has developed a membership of over 2,000 academics and practitioners in Canada and around the world who are interested in public administration and matters relating to the governance of public and private organizations. With the combined membership of Optimumonline, Revue governance offers contributors a potential worldwide readership of over 10,000.
